The impact of the violent car crash broke the Plaintiff’s driver’s seat, it folded the rear quarter panels of the compact car so that the rear doors were inoperable and knocked the stereo out of its dashboard mounting. Three years prior to this car crash, the Plaintiff underwent spinal surgery due to spinal stenosis and was asymptomatic. As a result of the car accident, the Plaintiff required a lumbar decompression at L5-S1, bilateral foraminotomies and posterior spinal fusion with an iliac bone graft at L3-4, L4-5 and L5-S1.
