Sarasota, FL (March 24, 2020) – In the 1800 block of 6th Street in Sarasota, an adult male driver crashed into a home and was found dead at the scene. Police received a 911 call at approximately 3:30 am reporting the incident.
The driver had crashed the vehicle through the home completely. The exact cause of the driver’s death is currently unconfirmed, and his identity has not yet been made public.
City engineers have deemed the home uninhabitable. Three adults were in the home at the time of the crash, but none incurred injuries.
The crash is still under investigation, and individuals with any information are asked to contact Sarasota Police at 941-263-6025.
