Car Accidents in Florida
In 2018 alone, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles reported over 403,000 traffic accidents in the state of Florida. This averages out to 1,106 crashes per day, with 3,135 fatalities and 236,157 injuries in total.
Personal injury results from 80% of auto accidents, although injuries may not be apparent immediately after the accident. So, many victims of car accidents don’t seek out the medical treatment that they need until long after the accident takes place. Current insurance laws may limit the medical benefits that car accident victims can receive, making it all the more important to seek legal expertise immediately after an accident.
